TEN incredible women joined Australian Conveyancer for IWD to share powerful stories of passion and resilience – and to show the way forward for an industry dominated by females.
The special International Women’s Day event brought the successful businesswomen from all corners of Australia to recognise the way females have shaped the sector.
After taking part in a photo shoot that will be featured in the next edition of the Australian Conveyancer quarterly magazine, the ten women of influence laid out their ambitions for an ever-evolving industry.
They also spoke about the challenges they had to overcome – and are still facing – as conveyancing deals with increasing regulatory burden and time pressures that impact profitability.
Many thanks to those who took time out from busy schedules to be part in the industry update videos.

Australian Conveyancer will be sharing these important updates over the coming months.
triSearch CEO Chris Gibbs said: “Events like these are not only important in showcasing the incredible women in conveyancing but also inspiring the next generation of women to explore a career in conveyancing.
“It’s one of the reasons why – at Australian Conveyancer and at triSearch – we’re focused on showcasing opportunities for women in the sector.
“Bringing them together to share their powerful stories – with each other, as well as with us and the wider conveyancing community – has been inspiring.
“It is what the Australian Conveyancer is all about too.
“Over the past two years, I’ve had the privilege of seeing firsthand the dedication, expertise, and passion that drive this industry forward as I’ve met with female conveyancers up and down the country.
“But bringing them together here in Sydney has raised my appreciation for the work they do to the next level.
“Hearing about their struggles -to get the right staff and how they’re constantly juggling an ever-increasing compliance burden while trying to ensure they’re at the helm of a thriving business is truly inspiring.
“That said, we all know the complex and important work carried out by conveyancers too often goes unsung.
“But that’s what we want to change.
“And as I’ve said, it’s the laser-focused aim of Australian Conveyancer.
“Together, I am certain we can improve the public’s perception of a profession that is vital to the property market.
“And let’s ensure ambitious graduates coming out of university see conveyancing as a great career path full of the opportunities that they have all grasped.”
Please do look out for the interviews and pictures we’ll be sharing over the next few weeks – and months.
